Trebellan Park Holiday Park and Coarse Fishing Lakes
TREBELLAN PARK is nestled in the picturesque Trebellan Valley deep in the heart of the Cornish countryside, yet only 2 miles from the glorious golden sands of Holywell Bay. Quiet and secluded we offer a wide choice of accommodation to suit families and couples alike.
Acres of open space, lush greenness and our 3 coarse fishing lakes make Trebellan Park a haven for wildlife. Add to this our own heated swimming pool and easy access to nearby beaches and you have the ideal choice for that perfect family holiday.
For the keen fishing folk, expert and novice alike, we have three established coarse fishing lakes within the boundaries of our site. Flanked by mature woodland they are a great place to unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquillity whilst testing your skills. The lakes are well stocked with large carp (up to 30lb), tench, rudd and roach.
There is a daily rod charge collected on the banks by our bailiff and reduced weekly rates are available for those staying on site. We do not allow keep nets or matches ensuring our fish are healthy and not over stressed. Our lakes are open to site residents and the public so even if you are not holidaying with us you can enjoy fishing our lakes.
Fishing Trebellan’s lakes provides a fun fight for the more experienced fishermen resulting in a more than satisfying catch and also a great place for less experienced fishermen to improve their skills.
Trebellan Park is a family site and we welcome both families and couples alike. Our 84 level, south facing, terraced pitches offer you relaxation in pleasant surroundings with no noisy club bar.
Our well laid out camping and touring site boasts up to date amenities including a modern shower block with free showers. The launderette has drying and ironing facilities and wi-fi is available in our t.v, room whilst the swimming pool, children’s play area and plenty of open space and wildlife in abundance, make this a child happy site.
For Mum and Dad’s relaxation time and the whole family there is the quaint, thatched 18th century Smugglers Den Inn opposite serving real ales and great food.
Trebellan Park’s on site self-catering accommodation consists of our 2 comfortable Lodges and superbly converted Mill House. All within easy strolling distance of our beautiful swimming pool and fishing lakes.
Trepol and Trebellan Lodge both sleep up to 2 people, a double bedroom, or 2 and a cot. They also have a lounge with colour, Freeview t.v., fully equipped kitchen/diner, modern shower room and central heating for cooler weather. Each has its own decked seating area so you can enjoy your evening tipple whilst watching the sun go down or listening to the birds singing.
Our Mill House apartments, originally the Old Mill where farmers brought their corn to be ground, all have 2 bedrooms, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, to sleep up to 4 people, a modern shower room, fully equipped kitchen/diner and lounges with colour, Freeview TV. They also have storage heaters for cooler weather.
Our ground floor apartments have their own patios with picnic tables so you can enjoy the evening sun whilst barbequing to your hearts content. Our upper floor apartments have access to a large grassed area with picnic benches so guests can barbeque away whilst listening to the wildlife and watching the children play to their hearts content in the play area.
Both the Lodges and Mill House apartments have all been recently refurbished to an excellent, modern standard.
Also on site are our Willerby Westmorland caravans. These superb holiday caravans, new in 2011, are located amongst mature trees and are south facing overlooking the site, our main fishing lake and onwards to open countryside with distant views of Perran sand dunes. All six vans are finished to a high standard and positioned to make the most of the countryside views. Each has double patio doors opening onto its own decked balcony so you can watch the wildlife go by and the sun go down. The caravans sleep up to six people, a double bedroom, a twin room and a double pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. Heaters in the bedrooms and gas fires in the lounge provide warmth for cooler evenings.
We also welcome pets in most of our accommodation at a small charge.
All in all Trebellan Park offers a wonderful holiday with something to keep the whole family happy and peace and tranquillity for couples.
