Independence Day is coming up quick, and there’s no better place to celebrate freedom over the 4th of July weekend than the Enchanted Circle in the Southern Rocky Mountains. With average summer temperatures in the 70s, come escape the heat and enjoy our scenic beauty and festivities this 4th of July.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s going on.

7:00 a.m., 7:15 a.m., 8:00 a.m. | Angel Fire Adventure – Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K & Happy Feet Kids Run

8-11 a.m. | Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast – Olympic Park, Angel Fire, NM

8 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Trash to Treasures Sale – Angel Fire Community Center

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Women’s downhill ride day – Angel Fire Bike Park

10 a.m. | July 4th Parade and Picnic in the Park – Red River, NM

10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Old West Days  – Eagle Nest Gateway Museum

11 a.m. – 4 p.m. (or whenever food runs out) | Fireman’s BBQ – Eagle Nest school grounds

2 p.m. | July 4th Parade – Eagle Nest school grounds, Eagle Nest, NM

2-5 p.m. | Live DJ – Angel Fire Bike Park, Angel Fire, NM

3-5 p.m. | Beer Sampling – Angel Fire Bike Park,  Angel Fire, NM

9 p.m. | Fireworks over Eagle Nest Lake – Eagle Nest, NM

We know that crowds and loud noises aren’t for everyone – especially our little ones. When everyone’s tuckered out, pop on back to the Lodge for a nice quiet end to what is sure to be an excellent 4th of July weekend in the Enchanted Circle.
