If you are looking for the perfect game that would fill that 5-minute break you have, look no further. In this article, we have selected 5 best casual Android games for June 2015.

The Hit Car

The Hit Car is a fairly new game in Play Store since it has been released only on June 9. The premise of this games is simple – our country has been invaded by hoards of zombies and your goal is to get rid of them. You have to use your car to its maximum potential and run those nasty zombies down. To save your car some scratches, you are also going to use a variety of weapons and upgrades. Since the game is so new, content may be lacking but updates are incoming with new arenas and mission, extra upgrades, weapons, and new achievements.

The Hit Car deserves a test run just because how great it looks and handles. The author made a great job creating this fun game and I hope he continues in his efforts.

The Hit Car is available from Play Store for free with no in-app purchases.

Twin Runners 2

Twin Runners 2 is a simple game that is very hard to master. You control two ninjas who both run side by side on two separate tracks filled with obstacles. If you tap the screen ninjas flip their direction. Using this simple mechanic that requires just one thumb you have to master a series of handcrafted tracks. The game has a beautiful low polygon style, leaderboards, achievements, and even a multiplayer mode. It is extremely difficult but also an exceptionally addicting game that will keep you coming back for more.

Twin Runners 2 is available from Play Store for free with in-app purchases.

MNDZZ

In MNDZZ your goal is to dodge all obstacles and not get crushed doing so. You pilot a cube which floats through elegantly designed minimalistic space. A company on your journey is provided by a catchy soundtrack and beautiful visual effects. Even though MNDZZ is an endless arcade game you still get the sense of achievement by completing various events and community challenges.

Sadly, some reviewers on Play Store complain about in-game adds being too intrusive and annoying. I have to side with them. Being forced to watch an annoying ad when all you want to do is one quick gaming session lasting no more than 2 minutes is quite annoying. Despite this, the game still looks gorgeous and plays great and you should absolutely give it a go.

MNDZZ is available from Play Store for free with in-app purchases.

Kung Fury: Street Rage

Kung Fury is a 2015 Swedish martial arts comedy short film which pays homage to 1980s martial arts and police action films. It was crowdfunded through Kickstarter, reaching $630,019 out of the film goal of $1 million. The plot is ridiculous with ninjas, robots, Adolf Hitler, and even Vikings all having their time to shine. Oh, and there is a tyrannosaurus too.

Kung Fury: Street Rage is the companion video game in the style of classic beat ’em up games such as Streets of Rage, Double Dragon, and Final Fight. There is no story which means that you waste no time and get to kick ass right from the beginning.  If you enjoy classic beat ’em up games on NES or SNES you will feel right at home with Kung Fury: Street Rage. There is an option to opt-out from ads using in-app purchase and enjoy the game in all its uninterrupted glory.

Kung Fury: Street Rage is available from Play Store for free with in-app purchases.

Skiing Yeti Mountain

Skiing Yeti Mountain is something else. Your goal is to ski through hundreds of levels in search for the Yeti. You will meet many interesting characters on your journey as well as overcome different obstacles including trees, ice, and cliffs. What makes this game so unique to me is the atmosphere. You get a supreme feeling of serenity as you drift down through snow covered mountains while avoiding trees and conquering obstacles. The game is designed for mobile phones but thanks to its pixelated graphic style it looks equally great even on bigger tables.

Probably the greatest testament to its quality is the score of 4.7 stars.

Skiing Yeti Mountain is available from Play Store for free with in-app purchases.
