Intex, one of the leading smartphone manufacturer in India and the proud owner of the IPL team Gujarat Lions, has today launched a new smartphone in its Aqua series called as Intex Aqua Lions 3G. The smartphone is named after its IPL Team and was unveiled by Suresh Raina, Captain, Gujarat Lions IPL team along with other team members. The smartphone comes with basic specifications and is designed for youth and IPL lovers. The Aqua Lions 3G is priced at Rs. 4,990 and is available for sale via both online and offline platforms across the country.

Talking about the specifications, the Aqua Lions 3G sports a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD display offering a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, it comes powered by Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz clubbed with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 32GB. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s customized UI overlaid.
On the camera front, the smartphone comes equipped with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie images. The device comes with basic connectivity options like 2G/3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS/A-GPS, microUSB 2.0 port and lacks 4G-LTE support. It has unique features like gesture controls, flip to mute, smart wake and emergency rescue along with Gujarat Lions official app for live IPL updates.
The handset powers a massive 3500mAh battery that is rated to offer upto 10 hours of talk time and upto 480 hours of standby time. The device comes with many pre-loaded apps like Intex Service, Follo, OPERA MINI, Clean Master, NewsHunt, I-store, Saavn, hike messenger, etc. and also supports 21 regional languages. It measures 145 x 71.5 x 9.5 mm and weighs around 172 grams. The Aqua Lions 3G comes with Soft Touch finish at the back and is available in White, Grey and Champagne color variants.
