Corvettes are awesome cars, there's no doubt about that. But when you're able to get one with some big block power, well, that's just icing on the cake. This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette packs a powerful original 427 that is augmented with a fresh paint job and a host of new hardware to keep it running reliably, and handle like a champ. When you want to stand out in a Corvette, there's no better way to do it than in a coat of Corvette Yellow. The paint that graces this Corvette's fiberglass has been sprayed professionally and it's devoid of any concerning flaws. As with any fiberglass car, they'll have typical issues that come with age, but this one still shows well, and it will be a long while before you're going to be concerned about tackling any major body work. The doors and big block hood shut with confidence to body gaps that appear quite even. Any big block Vette needs the proper regalia to display its prominence and this one has the correct Stingray badges on the fenders, cross flag emblems where they should be, and '427' callouts on the muscular hood. Trim and chrome look good and pair up well with the clean, 15'' rally wheels. This is certainly a Stingray that will stand out from the crowd. Black, leather buckets inside are possibly the only choice with Corvette Yellow, and GM made numerous improvements to the '69 cars to correct complaints about the '68s. New door panels added hip and shoulder room, the steering wheel diameter shrank by one inch thanks to power steering becoming more popular, and the cool fiber optic lamp monitoring system was added. The soft parts appear to have been restored in the not too distant past and show very well. The gauges look so good that they must have been restored at the same time, and a Kenwood AM/FM/cassette player is housed nicely in the dash, looking like a factory option, and it appears to be wired to a Kenwood CD changer mounted in the rear hatch with two speaker boxes fitted for 6x9s. Tilt the hood forward to reveal a 427 cubic inch V8 that is actually original to the car. Everything appears correct, including the chrome valve covers and stickers placed on the chrome air cleaner. It's a clean engine bay that you'll be proud to show off with new hoses and canisters. The 390 horsepower this big block makes is sent a solid Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission that spins 3.55 gears. It's been a California car, so all of the pesky emission issues are sorted with this one. And nearly everything underneath is new or updated including the suspension components with Bilstein shocks, tubular A-arms up front, a larger sway bar, the steering assembly, a fiberglass rear leaf spring, and larger rear control arms. Combine that with power steering and power four-wheel disc brakes and you'll be itching to put more miles on the BF Goodrich Radial T/As. There you have it, a fully sorted big block Corvette that is ready to drive today. C3 Corvettes are quickly growing in popularity with the masses, so it's no surprise that one like that one like this, with 427 power, and a vivid paint job has caught a lot of attention. Call today!
