Los Angeles has long been a mecca for movie stars, rock stars and entertainers. The glitz, glamour, and media attention that celebrities thrive on continues to draw droves of visitors and aspiring actors to the city.

Often, when celebrities fight, get drunk, get arrested or have inexplicable mental meltdowns, it happens right here in the City of Angels.

Tarzana

Pop-princess, Britney Spears’ infamous hair shaving incident still has heads shaking. We may never really know why Britney mowed her long brown locks down to a bare bald head but we do know where it happened. Britney showed up to Esther’s Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, California and took clippers into her hands after the shop tried to talk her out of the hair cut.

Downtown Los Angeles

Zac Efron took a blow to his baby face when he and his bodyguard got into a fight with a group of homeless men in the infamous Skid Row district of Los Angeles. The actor and his bodyguard were attacked in Los Angeles’ Skid Row district when their car ran out of gas and came to a fateful halt off the 110 freeway and Temple Street.

Venice

Lindsay Lohan’s episodic and drawn out drama with the law received loads of media attention but when her alleged five-finger discount on a $2,500 necklace earned her a felony charge, it got real. Lindsay’s shoplifting fiasco happened inside Kamofie and Company jewelry store on Abbot Kinney in Venice.

West Hollywood

Nickelodeon star, Amanda Bynes, joined the ranks of young and reckless Hollywood celebrities when she began to have her own run-ins with the law. Bynes’ caught a case the night she hit a police car in West Hollywood.  The fender bender took place at the intersection of Robertson and Santa Monica boulevards in West Hollywood.

Beverly Hills

Kim Kardashian’s dashing ex-boyfriend, singer Ray J, found himself in the back of a squad car the night he was kicked out of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The songwriter, actor and producer was asked to leave but refused, leading to his detainment. Ray J made a dramatic exit by reportedly spitting in an officer’s face and smashing out the police car window.

Santa Clarita

After a day of hosting charity events for needy children and typhoon victims in the Philippines, Fast and Furious star Paul Walker lost his life when he was killed in a car accident in Valencia, California. The actor was riding as a passenger when the vehicle sped into a tree and was set ablaze. The horrible accident that claimed his life occurred at 25600 Hercules Street, in Santa Clarita.

Beverly Hills

Fans around the world still mourn the loss of Grammy award winning legend and icon Whitney Houston who passed away in February of 2012. The singer was found lying unresponsive in the bathtub of room 434 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. We all still love and miss Whitney who left us way too soon.

Hollywood

Christina Aguilera shed her good girl image long ago but when the singer was arrested for public intoxication, she was officially inducted into Hollywood’s bad girls club. After Aguilera and her boyfriend were pulled over on Clark Street off Sunset Boulevard, she was forced to sober up inside of a jail cell.

West Hollywood

When singer Frank Ocean pulled into a recording studio parking lot and realized his reserved spot was taken, he confronted the vehicle’s owner singer Chris Brown. The incident quickly turned into a fight and was caught on camera. The video surfaced online and added yet another notch on Brown’s bad boy belt. During the altercation, Frank Ocean’s cousin Sha’Keir Duarte was reportedly assaulted by a member of Brown’s crew outside of Westlake Recording Studios in West Hollywood.

Beverly Hills

Rob Kardashian of the reality television show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, has been the subject of media scrutiny for is rapid weight gain. Kardashian went ballistic on a female paparazzi after she snapped a picture of him without a shirt on inside the garage of a private gym TMZ reports. Kardashian confronted the photographer, snatched her camera, and took the memory card. The paparazzo claims Kardashian hit her in the face during their scuffle. The whole thing went down at Gunnar Peterson’s private gym near Santa Monica Boulevard and Moreno Drive.
