As the commercial says "if you're not whitening, you're yellowing" and it is SO true. Every time I see that commercial I find myself covering my mouth with my hand. Being a daily coffee drinker and whatnot hasn't really been kind to the colour of my teeth over time. I use an Oral-B electric tooth brush, flosses, whitening toothpastes and mouth washes but that isn't enough.

The P&G Moms had the opportunity to try out Crest 3D White Whitestrips at the P&G Mom event last fall. Each mom was given a set to wear and see if they liked it or  not. I remember a few saying they didn't like the feel of them etc while others swore to start using them more often.

I on the other hand didn't get to try them on the spot and give my opinion because at the time of the event I was indeed pregnant with Baby M and the first question I had for the P&G rep was if these Whitestrips were safe for pregnant women. Of course like hair dye, Whitestrips are indeed not good and I was advised to wait until after pregnancy to try them out.

Luckily we were sent some in our swag bucket from P&G and since I am no longer pregnant, I have had the opportunity to test them out for myself. Having never tried them before and remembering some of the testimonies of the moms who did, I wasn't sure what to expect. Would I notice a difference and be impressed? Would it be uncomfortable and hurt my teeth or taste weird? The only way to answer these questions was to try it out for myself and that I did.

Each Crest Whitestrips package comes with 7 sets of strips, 2 per package. A strip for the bottom teeth and a strip for the top teeth. They are simple to apply by just sticking them on (carefully) and folding them back over your teeth. You wear the Whitestrips for a maximum of 2 hours for the best results and voila! Whiter teeth even after just the first use!

It took seconds to apply them and they don't really taste like anything, mouthwash maybe which isn't that bad. What I like about this whitening kit is that you can put them on and still go about your day, you can even drink water while wearing them. Neither my kids nor hubby noticed I was whitening my teeth while giving baths and whatnot! I noticed a difference in colour after one use and didn't have any side effects except felt a little bit sensitive close to the end of the hour I wore them but once I took them off I was fine. I can't wait to see the difference after a 7-day treatment! Wow!

They are great to use between cleanings at the dentist to keep your pearlies white! You can find Crest 3D White Whitestrips at most major retail, pharmacy and other stores for around $69.99!
