According to reports, conservative talk show host and actor Jerry Doyle was found dead at his Las Vegas home on Wednesday afternoon. He was only 60 years old.
Doyle was best known for his starring role on the sci-fi show Babylon 5. When the program ended in 1998, Doyle began his career as a political talk show host. The Jerry Doyle Show aired on weekdays from 3 pm to 6pm for years on the Talk Radio Network.
But Doyle’s career didn’t stop there. In 2000, he ran for California’s 24th Congressional district as a Libertarian, but he lost the race. He also created the website EpicTimes.
“He was funny, and dangerous, and loyal, and a prankster, and a pain in the ass,” Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski told reporters. “He was gentle and cynical and hardened and insightful and sometimes as dense as a picket fence…and his passing is a profound loss to everyone who knew him, especially those of us who fought beside him in the trenches of Babylon 5.”
Will you send your prayers to Doyle’s family?
