Ahh, spring in Boston! Now that the very little snow we got has melted for good, it's time to look ahead and get some events on the old calendar. To give you a headstart, we've rounded up some of the best spring events in Boston, below. From the Boston Marathon to Boston Calling, a massive tattoo convention to three million daffodils in one place, there's a little something for everyone.

Anime Boston – March 25, 26 & 27 – Boston Convention & Exhibition Center – Come out for the largest fan-run anime convention in the northeastern United States ... stay for the crazy costumes and general air of excitement hanging in the room. If you're into anime, this is your Christmas – more than 24,000 people are expected to attend throughout the weekend.

Food Trucks on the Greenway – April 1 – Rose Kennedy Greenway – This year's Mobile Eats roster on the Greenway is larger than its ever been, with 34 food trucks and trikes rolling to to serve the masses, including 10 new ones.

Boston Tattoo Convention – April 8, 9 & 10 – Hynes Convention Center – Sure, there will be more ink here than a typewriter conference, but guests can take in other spectacles, like a Facial Hair Competition, a burlesque review and a "Miss Boston Ink" competition. Tickets start at $25 for a day pass. And yes, you can get tattooed during the event.
Boston Beer Summit – April 15 & 16 – Castle at Park Plaza – The craft beer tasting to end all craft beer tastings, featuring more than 200 beers from 50-plus breweries around the world. Local favorites Backlash Beer Company, Castle Island Brewery and Down the Road Brewery will join out-of-towners like Lagunitas, Oskar Blues Brewery and Yuengling. Tickets begin around $60.
Swan Boats Opening Day – April 16 – Boston Public Garden – The Swan Boat tradition began in the 1870s, when rowing small vessels in the Public Garden lagoon became a cherished pastime of city residents. Now they've got a motor, and you don't have to do any of the work, but the allure and magic are still the same.
Boston Marathon – April 18 – Hopkinton to Boylston Street – This is the 120th running of Boston's greatest sporting event, the Boston Marathon, which will see a field size of more than 30,000 runners this year. March Madness might not have made it as an official national holiday, but there's no better day to call out of work and head downtown. Good luck to the runners!
Wine Riot – April 22 & 23 – Castle at Park Plaza – Wine Riot is the vino aficionado's answer to the myriad beer festivals (ahem, like above) in and around Boston. Expect hundreds of new wines from around the world, "with two parts education and one part revolution." It's wine tasting, but fun. It's a riotous good time. Tix start at $65, and will sell out.
New England Cannabis Convention – April 23 & 24 – Hynes Convention Center – This is the only convention this year in New England, so if this is your, uh, bag, better make this one count. Business panels, live demos and over 100 exhibitors will be on hand. Tickets start around $15.
Daffodil Festival Weekend – April 29 to May 1 – Nantucket – Nantucket residents, and swarms of visitors, know exactly how to usher in spring: with the advent of more than three million daffodils of varying colors bursting to life on the island. Now in its 42nd year, the Daffodil Festival features an antique car parade, a Daffy Hat parade and even a dog parade. Basically, it's one massive parade. Fun for all ages. Free.

Boston Calling – May 27, 28 & 29 – City Hal Plaza – Sia, Robyn and Disclosure will headline each night of this May's rendition of Boston Calling, now bigger and better than ever. There will be more food options this year, as well as craft beer brewed by Mikkeller just for the event. Tickets are selling out, so act now if you want in.

Ferry to the Boston Harbor Islands – May 7 – Long Wharf – Spending a day, or camping overnight, on one of Boston's many awesome Harbor Islands is one of the great joys of living in this city. Check out the schedule now, and book your camping spot ASAP. They fill up fast.
48th Walk for Hunger & 5k Run – May 1, 7 a.m. – Boston Common – Join 40,000 runners and walkers in a public statement about hunger in Massachusetts. Free to walk, $35 to run.

Beer Camp Across America – June 18, 1 to 5 p.m. – City Hall Plaza – Before City Hall is transformed into an urban beach with a giant ferris wheel and selfie sign, it'll be home to a big, collaborative beer festival hosted by Sierra Nevada. Six regional brewers will team up on one kickass beer: Pat-Rye-Ot Revolutionary Pale Ale. General admission tickets start at $50.
