Tag management platform to enable simple cookie law compliance across multiple domains

Tool and equipment hire supplier HSS Hire is rolling out QuBit’s (http://www.qubitproducts.com) Cookie Consent product on its websites in order to quickly and simply enable it to comply with the EU ‘Cookie Law’. Cookie Consent is a module within QuBit’s OpenTag Tag Management system, which HSS will be implementing across a number of its online domains.
OpenTag is the world’s leading open-source, self service Tag Management system. It helps organisations consolidate their website tags into a single interface, creating significant efficiencies in Tag Management and driving improved site speeds.
Cookie Consent is deployed as part of OpenTag and gives site owners a simple and widely configurable approach to enabling compliance with the EU’s Cookie Law (EU Directive 2009/136/EC – e-Privacy Directive), that came into force on May 26th 2012.
In addition the Cookie Consent roll-out, HSS will also be deploying QuBit’s Customer Intelligence and Testing products across its sites. The Customer Intelligence technology will help HSS build a user-level view of activity across its sites which, in conjunction with QuBit’s specialised testing applications, will enable them to optimise their retail offering based on hard statistical data about user interaction.
