Perk Up! Chocolate Coffee Protein Smoothie – Brit, Team Ambrosia
I’m more than sure that if you ask anyone here at Ambrosia, they’ll likely tell you that it’s a SUPER rare occasion to find me sans a coffee in hand!! Like, it rarely EVER happens! So when I found out that one of this months’ Featured Products was cold brewed coffee from Califia, I immediately knew that I had to try this out in some form of recipe!!!
Seeing as we’re still relatively early in the New Year, I thought that a healthy breakfast protein smoothie recipe would more than fit the bill for this month’s Featured Products’ post!!

Ingredients
½ cup of Califia Cold Brew Coffee – this vegan coffee beverage is gluten-free, BPA free, & free from any GMO’s!! With only 90 calories, and 50mg of caffeine per serving, this cold brew drink contains more antioxidants than your quintessential hot coffee!
½ Banana
½ cup of Plain Silk Yogurt – this non-dairy yogurt alternative is a GREAT source of plant-based protein, and contains a healthy amount of active cultures. Not to mention, Silk Yogurt offers up a pretty good source of both calcium and vitamin D… AND it’s delicious!
1 scoop of Botanica’s Perfect Protein Chocolate Flavour – Another great source of plant-based amazingness!! This particular protein powder, not only brings the nutrition protein-wise, it also containsnaturally occurring vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, healthy fats, and fibre!!!
Directions
Pour all ingredients into a blender
Blend on high until you reach desired consistency
Serve!
