packing up with loads of reluctance but we do have a flight back to Singapore to catch :/
we were up early and bathed/changed before breakfast in the hotel for the last time
there was kiwi, passion fruit and Laughing Cow cheese today! ♥
back to our room for the final check and packing before check out time
i had my daily dose of green tea as well :)
had some time to kill/chill before 11am
before we go, out of curiosity, the boy muddled with some control buttons at our bedside, which we only used to control the lights and temperature throughout our stay, and he found a button that pull back the curtains above our bed frame
sunlight flooded into our bedroom for the first time in the last 6 days o.O
well, at least we know now that we can have the option of allowing sunlight in. haha
anyway, the curtains are good when they were closed cause they block out light so awesomely that you can never tell the time by the amount of light in your room in the day. In another word, you get a very good sleeping environment! :D
checking out was hassle free and we left after getting the direction to the bus stop where we will take a direct bus to the airport
goodbye to our home for the last 5 nights~
the bus stop was the same one which we alighted at on our first day so we found it easily
there were 3 buses that terminates at Taoyuan Airport available to choose from and depending on their route, they charged a different price
we took 5202 on our first day and the journey was slight more than an hour at NT$95 each
5201 came along first today and it was NT$150 each for approx half an hour journey
our flight was at 345pm and we arrived at the airport at about 12+pm
the check-in counter wasnt opened yet so we roamed around the terminal while we wait
saw self check-in area for Hello Kitty Eva Air and rushed forward to take photos :p
its too pinkish for my liking but Hello Kitty cheap thrill~ LOL
went to the free wi-fi area to snack and slack
started queuing at 1245pm but the staffs were still not ready
as i had came to observe and believe, queuing early for Scoot's flight is COMPULSORY cause the queue always starts early and fast forming even before the actual check in time
by the way, we also learn that the chinese name of Scoot is 酷航 which means "a cool airlines" when directly translated
well, from the experience with their air steward and stewardess or the lack thereof, we both didnt really think so~ haha
time for some real food lunch after we were done checking-in
entered the departure halls and went to a mini foodcourt where they have dim sum, congee, Starbucks and Burger King
We went for the king which tasted like always...fast food
well, our only complain for their fast food (experience at Mac and Burger King) is that they do not have chilli sauces! only ketchup which we do not like >.
more roaming around after lunch
and we spotted a too cute breast feeding room
cause it is Hello Kitty themed!
the public phones right outside the room were kitty-fied as well XD
went to the DFS area to shop for food items (Tai Yang Bing, Pineapple Tarts/Cakes, Nougats etc) to bring back to Singapore from our family and friends
tried our best to squeeze our wallets dry and J spent the last NT$500 on chocolates for me ♥ ^^
made our way to the departure gates after we were done
and it was very tribal/aborigines/cultural themed
