Here it is, NYFW round up of all my favorite looks from the shows I attended during Fashion Week (PH via Style.com)

Derek Lam (PH 1 & 2)

One of my favorite shows I saw during the week. Hues were super retro inspired with colors that popped, from shiny leather skirts to a bright tangerine pants suit. Everything was on the over-sized side with a taste from the 70’s, layered with a turtleneck. That tangerine suit though!!!! I like!!!

EDUN (PH 3)

At Edun, there were very similar colors and fabrics as Derek Lam, except the colors were even more electric and the turtlenecks had bobbly, oversized buttons embellished on them. Electric blue, bright orangey red and houndstooth were the color trends. The coats were done in boxy, but still fitted silhouettes, in leather and what seemed to be wool fabric with raw edges. Bravo Edun!

Tibi (Ph 4 & 5)

Tibi, the queen of casual, easy, and most importantly WEARABLE dressing. The kind of clothes that you pack in your suitcase no matter where you’re going and they all look good together. This season the colors on Tibi’s runway were soft and quiet, almost as if they could be mistaken for spring/summer, in a good way. Everything made me feel cozy, with all the fuzzy knits and fur embellishments on a selection of the shoes. Navy, shiny black and red fabrics, violet, ivory, tan, white and deep camel, were the color themes. The slouchy suede camel skirt is my fav. piece from the runway!

Rodarte (Ph 6)

Sexy-Pixie-Fairies. Is that even a thing? I don’t know, but that’s what all the girls on the runway looked like at Rodarte, to me at least. Heavily embellished in feathers and beads with lace and fur trims, is what you saw on each piece this season. Leather jackets and billowy capes trimmed in bright orange or royal blue fur. I want to be one of these girls next fall. So much sex appeal, but in a tasteful way.

Zimmermann (PH 7)

Zimmermann killed it for me this season. Last season I didn’t vibe with the collection at all, but they’ve completely won me back after seeing the FW15 show. Classy California cool girl, from the 70’s and 60’s, a hybrid of the two. Again, a color palette that seemed as if this collection could almost be SS, sea foam green, camel, bright orange, wine, powder pink, edged up with black suede boots and heels. Chiffon dresses with flouncy fits, tailored suits and a suede, studded dress, YES YES YES!

Rodebjer (PH 8)

90’s grunge? Maybe a little bit. Dark deep colors in heavy velvet fabrics and shiny silky layers with extra fabric just about everywhere. Scarves, and lace-up pointed-toe ballet flats were all over the runway. No girl was without a little moon tattoo on different parts of her body. Now I was this moon tattoo.

Marissa Webb (PH 9)

Lace and chiffon layers to go along with uneven hems on mini skirts, and more masculine suiting options. Neutral and dark colors, the usual, black, gray, white, everything we want in our wardrobe and more…

Opening Ceremony (PH 10)

More 90’s vibes with fitted and cropped trousers that had a little flair to the hem, boxy outerwear belted with heavy silver buckles and shiny heavy duty black boots. Oh and a striped shirt labeled “Kodak” down the sleeve, I’m into that one.

Lacoste (PH 11, 12, 13)

Three photos- Because it was just too freaking good! Tennis anyone? Rene did it first… Two slogans covering half of the sporty but chic runway. Little tennis dresses in red and green with ivory versions and gray and baby blue, the most perfect color combinations-especially for LA winters! Finally something that fits in with my winter! Not only was there a track suit, but a track suit dress it seemed, YES! Refined sportswear, thats actually wearable in every day life, I love it.

Coach (PH 14)

The outerwear killed it at Coach this season, with coats covered in and lined with shearling. Also some bad-ass rock and roll, city girl inspired leather bombers, covered in band pins. Almost every girl at Coach wore a black and white, silk, printed bandana around her neck. Guess I fit in perfectly with the girls at Coach, seeing as I wore mine half of fashion week. Well done Coach, just keeps getting better and better every season!

Tommy Hilfiger (PH 15)

It’s no secret that we were all here to see Tommy score on the playing field. Models in the Tommy show walked across a real-life-sized football field while we all watched from the side lines. Preppy letterman style jackets and capes in fur, wool, leather, you name it, they made it.

Diesel Black Gold (PH 16)

All Black Everything, in layers of leather, lace, strings, knits, everything fall is about. I felt traces both Greasers & The Gothic kids from school.. Although there was suiting as well, a little bit of everything.

Banana Republic (PH 17)

Layers and layers of electric colors in blouses, pea coats, blazers and knits. The makeup popped nicely along with the pieces of clothing.

Joie (PH 18)

Hippie vibes- Almost Famous- The 70’s, gangs all here! Paisley printed chiffon blouses layered over turtlenecks, paired with high waisted flair jeans and A-line skirts. All the groupie girls were present at the Joie presentation this year.

Sally Lapointe (PH 19 & 20)

I’m going to make this short and sweet, and to the point. Skirts with actual fringe and also cut in the shapes of fringe, fringed in every way shape and form…and fur, the FUR! Fur trimmed, sweaters, moto jackets and vests, waist coast, long coats, everything that could possible have fur, had fur. I didn’t know much about Sally Lapointe before the show, but now I’m a fan.

There you have it, next stop Milan.
