Hello everyone, hope you guys are doing good! It’s Erum here today with some pencil colouring. For my card today I used Magnolias for Her one of my very favourite stamp sets. I thought I’d start off with a closeup.

Here is the complete look.

The flowers in Magnolias for Her set are so beautiful with such thin and dainty lines that they always give your project a very delicate look. But for my card I used these flowers in a completely opposite manner and coloured the petals in a way that the flowers look like succulents; fleshy and thick.

For my background, I started watercolouring using a mixture of crisp inks; Bamboo and Parrot. After the background was dry I added partial stenciling using the new Halftone Stencil and a mix of crisp inks (Ocean Waves and Lagoon). I then added some black splatters to match my black and white watercolour stripes base (which I made myself).

I stamped the flowers using Altenew crisp ink in Mountain Mist and for the leaves I used Frayed Leaf. Choosing the lightest shades of inks help achieve the no-line colouring look.

After I was done colouring, I fussy cut the images. To add some interest, I added a bit of silver string as a base for my floral arrangement and popped the flowers on different levels and pinched my leaves to add to the dimension.

The greeting is from Label Love stamp set which is stamped in black to gel everything together. In the end I added a few sequins for some sparkle.

I hope you liked my card. Pencil colouring images always take a while but the end result is so worth it.

Alright friends, that is all from my side today. See you tomorrow for something exciting and of course beautiful! *wink wink*

hugs and love,

Erum
