PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION THIS WEEK
“Roc”
Roc’ is a 4-year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix who had a rough start in life and, as a result, is a little shy with new people but, once he knows you, he’s an entirely different dog. He has a huge loving soul and enjoys nothing more than spending time with you, what I call ‘snuffling’ ..smelling you, your hair and clothing. soaking up his love. All he wants is to be loved and be around people, especially children. He walks well on leash and loves to go for walks and experience things that he’s never had a chance to do in his previous life. He weighs about 80 lbs. A home visit will be conducted to help ensure the best fit for ‘Roc’ and his new family. Roc’s rehoming fee is $75.

“Gaia”
Gaia is a beautiful 1.5yr old female, spayed pittie who has had a terrible start in life and was rescued from San Bernadino City Shelter about 3 months ago right after giving birth to pups that were never found. She came to me a complete mess, very sick and in deep grief at losing her babies. Myself and my landlady nursed her back to health and now she is one vibrant, energetic pup. She is great around cats and to date, dogs are the challenge, so a home with no other dogs, except maybe small, playful ones is the best place for her. I have two other big dogs that would LOVE to play with her, but she has experienced too much trauma for that to happen – today. We have an animal behaviorist on the team and she is making progress, so we are hopeful. Here is her picture. Can you help? She would thrive in a home with a pack leader who is willing to be consistent, keep her safe, correct her and give her boundaries. She is pure love.

CO-FOSTER WANTED for “Maya” 2 Year old Female Golden Retriever
This is my foster dog Maya. She is special needs, as she has to be fed in upright position due to a malfunctioning esophogus I am looking for a part-time co-foster for her because I working on selling my house and occasionally have to go out of town. Sometimes I just need a break too. Please watch the following video about her and her condition and if you’d be interested in helping foster her part time, maybe a couple days a week or if she could even just come over when I have an open house or something. She’s very very friendly and loving.
It would be best if you had no other dogs because of her food and water issues explained in the video
Please watch the ENTIRE following 6 minute video to see Maya’s joyful soul, and how her ME is managed. http://youtu.be/9WYzbJIwfuI

Two Beautiful Male Siberian Huskies Looking for a Fun Home! – Foster Adoption
About a month ago, Three sweet Husky pups were apparently dumped near our house in Boulevard and decided to stay on with us. We posted a “Found” ad on Craigslist, and asked around, but no owners responded. We’ve since found a home for one, and unfortunately need to find a home for the two others since our lives are just too complicated right now to keep them. It would be preferable to keep them together, since they seem like pretty good buddies, but a well-suited family for each would be wonderful as well.
Both full-grown, the white one, Ghost, seems a bit older than the other, Brightey (blue right eye — you can thank my husband for the names), who appears to be fairly young. They are sweet and LIVELY, untrained (but show promise), and they need a lot of exercise — at least two walks/jogs a day. A large property would be ideal for them to frolic in when they can’t be out on a walk.
If you or anyone you know are interested or have any questions about one or both of these dogs or their suitability to a specific setting or people, please call/text/email me. We are dying to find them a better life than we can give them, and don’t want them to end up at a shelter to possibly be killed. We are asking a (negotiable) re-homing fee for each to recover fostering costs. To make sure the dogs go to good homes, we’ll write up an adoption contract if you decide to adopt.

“A Loving Home Is A Forever Home!”
“Mumford” – Old English Bulldog
Meet Mumford a 2 year old English Bulldog. Great with other dogs and cats. Very strong dog so will need an experienced handler, we are recommending a home without small children. We picked him up from the shelter where he was under weight and had loss of hair from a serious flea infestation and a secondary skin infection. He is now healing and his hair is growing back in. He is neutered, vaccinated, and micro chipped. While Bulldogs are cute they are high maintenance and serious adopters should only inquire.
“Gabe” & “Gracie”
These two cuties are being fostered by Natural Instincts Healthy Pet Center on Alpine Blvd. in Alpine. So if you are interested in them you are more than welcome to stop in and meet this darling brother and sister pair. They need to be adopted together. They have been vaccinated, altered, and micro chipped.
