“Roxy”
Snuggles & Kisses are her specialty!
Our family has been fostering Roxy for several months now and have fallen in love with her and want nothing more than to be her “Forever Home” but circumstances beyond our control are not making that possible We have been so blessed and amazed by this beauty and because she means so much to us, we are doing everything we can to find that perfect family for her.
Roxy is an extremely smart and lovable 3 year old Staffordshire Terrier-Australian Shepherd mix. She is incredibly devoted and will show lots of love with cuddles, kisses and snuggles in bed. Roxy loves to chase a tennis ball, soccer ball, or really any ball for that matter…fetch is her game! She is extremely athletic and would be a perfect fit for a person who loves to be active but she also enjoys calm time at home. If you are looking for a hiking or jogging companion, Roxy is your girl!
Roxy is also incredibly calm, well mannered and well trained, we walk nearly 3 miles with her daily and she is perfect on the leash. She is also very attentive and learns very quickly. She can pick up tricks and commands within a day and is very eager to please. Once you meet her, she will quickly become your best friend. Roxy loves her humans and makes an amazing indoor dog because she is perfectly housebroken (recently we taught her to ring a bell when she needs to go outside) and has a very subdued, calm demeanor in the home, but loves to go outside for her playtime! She is also a huge fan of rope toys but NEVER CHEWS her human’s belongings.
She is great with kids 4 years and older, but we have not really tested her with any younger children yet. She is also great with our cat!
If you are an active person who is looking for a companion to play with during the day and relax and cuddle with at night, Roxy is your girl. While she does totally love the companionship of other dogs, she is a dominant female and we feel it would be better for her to be in a home with either only 1 other larger breed male dog or be the one-and-only “spoiled dog” :-). Whoever brings this girl into their lives will soon find out what an incredible blessing she is. She brightens our day and we know she will bring light to your life with her total devotion and love.

Two Beautiful Male Siberian Huskies Looking for a Fun Home!
About a month ago, Three sweet Husky pups were apparently dumped near our house in Boulevard and decided to stay on with us. We posted a “Found” ad on Craigslist, and asked around, but no owners responded. We’ve since found a home for one, and unfortunately need to find a home for the two others since our lives are just too complicated right now to keep them. It would be preferable to keep them together, since they seem like pretty good buddies, but a well-suited family for each would be wonderful as well.
Both full-grown, the white one, Ghost, seems a bit older than the other, Brightey (blue right eye — you can thank my husband for the names), who appears to be fairly young. They are sweet and LIVELY, untrained (but show promise), and they need a lot of exercise — at least two walks/jogs a day. A large property would be ideal for them to frolic in when they can’t be out on a walk.
They are un-neutered. Unfortunately, we can’t afford time or money to have them neutered or given shots/checkups. They are seriously very endearing, happy, happy dogs who don’t even understand the meaning of a nasty growl from another dog..I think, in their minds, there exists no reason another dog wouldn’t just want to PLAY!! If our home/lives were suited to keeping them, we wouldn’t even think twice.
If you or anyone you know are even slightly interested or have any questions about one or both of these dogs or their suitability to a specific setting or people, please call/text/email me. We are dying to find them a better life than we can give them, and don’t want them to end up at a shelter to possibly be killed. We are asking a (negotiable) re-homing fee for each to recover fostering costs. To make sure the dogs go to good homes, we’ll write up an adoption contract if you decide to adopt.

“Diamond” is a 1 year old spayed Rottweiler. She was saved from the Imperial County Animal Shelter.
She is great with other dog (all sizes) and wonderful with cats. Extremely playful and would love a companion to play with.
“Mumford” – Old English Bulldog
Meet Mumford a 2 year old English Bulldog. Great with other dogs and cats. Very strong dog so will need an experienced handler, we are recommending a home without small children. We picked him up from the shelter where he was under weight and had loss of hair from a serious flea infestation and a secondary skin infection. He is now healing and his hair is growing back in. He is neutered, vaccinated, and micro chipped. While Bulldogs are cute they are high maintenance and serious adopters should only inquire.
“Preppy” – Jack Russell / Chihuahua Mix Puppy
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats. Preppy, aka Preppy No Tail, is a 14 week old very lively little boy. He was born without a tail, but having no tail to wag doesn’t stop him from wiggling his entire body in lieu of. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home, but can be a bully to the smaller pups and is a bit food aggressive with them. The other dogs just get tired of him wanting to love them and play all the time.
He thinks humans are the bestest ever!
“Gabe” & “Gracie”
These two cuties are being fostered by Natural Instincts Healthy Pet Center on Alpine Blvd. in Alpine. So if you are interested in them you are more than welcome to stop in and meet this darling brother and sister pair. They need to be adopted together. They have been vaccinated, altered, and micro chipped.
