Native American Vintage High Grade Lone Mountain Turquoise & Sterling Silver Swirls & Leaves Ring
This Vintage Turquoise and Sterling Silver Ring is a perfect marriage of Sterling Silver & Turquoise! The beautiful mottled light to medium blue of this natural, gem quality stone will be a treat to wear! We believe this turquoise to be from the Lone Mountain mine which is presently closed. Because of the age of this Collection, we are doing our best to correctly identify the stones in each piece. This is not a perfect science, but we are relying on our 40 years experience in the business to accurately determine turquoise origin. This Nevada natural nugget is handset into a Sterling sawtooth bezel which is surrounded by multiple leaves, swirls and drops of Sterling Silver. This Navajo design is soldered to a Sterling Silver double, split shank ring. A simple but eye-catching design, mirroring the beauty of nature and oxidized patina enhance this traditional Navajo ring. This Native American natural Turquoise ring measures 3/4" wide and 1-1/4" tall. This ring was made to fit a size 6-1/2 to 9 finger. As is typical in Navajo jewelry made prior to the 1960's, this Sterling Silver, handmade ring is unsigned.
This classic example of Navajo Indian artistry comes from the top-of-the-line authentic Native American jewelry collection of Barbara Felsot, who until her recent death, had been in the Native American art and jewelry business for over 40 years and only purchased the “best of the best”. This handcrafted Native American jewelry is of the highest gem quality and of exceptional craftsmanship!
