If you are unsure about equivalent qualifications, these can be checked against the Thames Valley Police equivalency table available on the website. €?Have a full British manual driving licence (EU driving licence may be acceptable). €?Live within the Thames Valley Police area or reside within 20 miles of two of the following stations: Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Amersham, Taplow, High Wycombe, Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Bracknell, Newbury, Loddon Valley, Reading, Thame, Henley, Didcot, Abingdon, Wantage, Cowley, St Aldates (Oxford City), Witney, Bicester and Banbury at time of the vacancy opening. We will be using the Google maps radius tool to establish distance from the above stations. http://www.freemaptools.com/radius-from-uk-postcode.htmEligibility Checking Meetings:As part of the recruitment process, eligibility meetings will be held at Headquarters North (Kidlington, Oxfordshire) and the Force Training Centre (Sulhamstead). We will hold a limited number of meeting slots where candidates will meet with a member of the Recruitment Team to discuss the role and check their eligibility to apply. Once registered for an eligibility checking meeting you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration; within this e-mail will be a telephone number for you to contact the Recruitment Team to arrange an individual time slot for your meeting. You are advised to check your account regularly.Applicants will be required to bring along their warrant card, photographic proof of identification, original copies of educational certificates, Driving Licence (including counterpart), proof of address and colour photographs of any tattoos they have to the eligibility meeting. If you are a Commonwealth citizen or other foreign national, you will also be required to bring your passport to show that your stay in the UK is free of restrictions.Please be aware that anyone who has not registered in advance will not be admitted to the meetings.
