The scheme is aimed at young people who will become a uniformed member of The Extended Police Family.Applications are invited from current Year 12 pupils aged 16 to 17, who will start the programme in March next year. Please note at the point of starting the scheme, you will also be encouraged to volunteer for additional activities as and when required.Merseyside Police is committed to providing a valuable Volunteer Cadet Scheme to pupils in the Merseyside Area. The force will offer limited places for year 12 pupils who live or go to school in Merseyside.Please note this is a very competitive process with a very high demand for placements.
