Free event, sponsored by KURA, takes place this Wednesday at Hard Rock Café, Glasgow with 17 businesses showcasing their employment opportunities
CAREER opportunities in the media, retail, healthcare, the charity sector and many more will be up for grabs at a free recruitment event hosted by Clyde 1 in Glasgow this Wednesday, 12 October.
Following the huge success of its first such event attended by more than 1,000 people earlier this year, Clyde 1 is staging its second Recruitment Fair, sponsored by KURA and taking place at the Hard Rock Café on Glasgow’s Buchanan Street from 10.30am until 6.30pm on Wednesday.
Glasgow and the west’s favourite radio station is again bringing together some of Scotland’s biggest employers and potential candidates, with some 17 businesses showcasing their career opportunities.
Within this anyone looking to pursue a career in radio or broadcasting will be interested to know that the award-winning Bauer Academy will have its own stall at the fair to discuss media career paths and opportunities.
Says Calum Morrison, events executive at Bauer Media Scotland: “This is a must-attend for anyone in Glasgow and West who is looking for a job, or who are perhaps considering a career change.
“Our recruitment fair gives Clyde 1 a chance to make a real difference to the lives of our listeners by helping them speak to 17 brilliant employers who have job vacancies, all under one roof.”
