Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS): IBPS is one of the most important banking sector exams in India. This is the primary screening test for Bank Jobs. It conducts recruitment exams for PO, Clerk, Specialist Officer Exam every year. How to Prepare for Bank Exams:

How is the IBPS Exam Process?

IBPS conducts the exam in two levels - Common Written Exam(CWE)and followed by an Interview. The qualified candidates in CWE are eligible for attending the Interview, both for IBPS PO and Clerk

CWE has Exam have two sets of papers - 1. Preliminary. 2. Mains exam. The preliminary Paper contains 3 subjects as Reasoning, English and Quantitative Aptitude. The mains exam question paper contains the following subjects such as Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude or Numerical ability, English, General Awareness & Computer Knowledge, etc., The candidates who are qualified in the both of these papers is called for interview.

All the subjects have equal weight age in the exam so; you should focus on every paper, and negative marking will effect on overall score calculation. For every wrong answer, you will be charged by 0.25 mark. The Preliminary exam has 100 marks and time duration is 1 hour. The main exam has 200 marks and time duration is 2 hours.

How to Prepare Reasoning:

This is very interesting and easy section. This section contains single items, syllogisms, coding-decoding, puzzles. In general, a day-to-day preparation for an hour or 2 is sufficient. Thereby you will gradually improve with this section and scoring section. You can easily get good marks. In the paper, you will have about 5-6 questions.

Bank Exam Preparation Tips for Quantitative Aptitude:

Here are the some of the bank exam preparation tips for quantitative aptitude. First, you should learn tables, squares & cubes. After that, you can solve any numerical ability. It needs chapter-wise preparation along with data interpretation. It takes the lot of time to solve the problems.

You should use tips and mathematical tricks to solve these in less time. Some topics like pie charts, line chart, line graph, tabulation are easier and just requires attention to detail. Aspirants can score good marks in this section. However, you must learn to save time in solving the problems. A tip: Do less calculation and do more brain work.
