In the year 2012, 16,990 students were registered for the examination in which 76% were boys and 78 % were girls overall pass percentage is 79.65.

In the year 2013, 17,899 students were registered for the examination in which80% were boys and 81 % were girls overall pass percentage is 89.52.

In the year 2014, 02,45,453 students were registered for the examination in which 82% were boys and 81% were girls overall pass percentage is 83.67.

In the year 2015, 18,256 students were registered for the examination in which 84% were boys and 85 % were girls overall pass percentage is 86.62.

In the year 2016, 20,563 students were registered for the examination in which 86% were boys and 88% were girls overall pass percentage is 89.52.

In the year 2017, 21,950 (Expecting) students were registered for the examination in which 90% (Expected) were boys and 93% (Expected) were girls overall pass percentage is 92 (Expected).

Overall pass percentage will be increasing this year.

The Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (abbreviated GBSHSE) is the main state board of education in the Indian state of Goa, responsible for secondary and higher secondary education management in its affiliated schools. The board is an education board native to the state of Goa. The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education was established on 27 May 1975 under “The Goa, Daman and Diu Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Act, 1975”.
