After an interesting 10 weeks of football, the Denver Broncos head into their much needed bye week with a 7-3 record. For the first time since the 2010 season, Denver finds themselves not atop the AFC West, but in third place behind the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders, both at 7-2. The Broncos defense has played very well this season in defending their Super Bowl 50 victory, with the exception of matchups versus the Atlanta Falcons and San Diego Chargers in Weeks 5 & 6. Injuries to DeMarcus Ware, Derek Wolfe and Aqib Talib have taken their toll, yet have also allowed guys like Shane Ray, Bradley Roby and Darian Stewart to shine this season.

On the offensive side of the ball, it’s been somewhat if a mixed bag through the first 10 weeks of the season. With the retirement of future hall of famer Peyton Manning, second-year quarterback Trevor Siemian earned the starting job during training camp and has had his ups and downs throughout the course of this season. Denver’s offensive line has struggled as well, and along with it, the running game. C.J. Anderson sustained a torn meniscus during Week 7’s game versus the Texans and is sidelined for the season, making way for rookie Devontae Booker to step up as the starter in the backfield, with Kapri Bibbs serving as his backup and change of pace back. When this offense is clicking, they are very productive, enough so, that they can continue to win games not just on the strength of their incredible defense.

After their Week 11 bye, the remainder of the schedule has the Broncos traveling three times to face the Jaguars, Titans and Chiefs, and playing the Patriots, Chiefs and Raiders at home in the Mile High City. It will be interesting to see if their offense can stay the course and continue to put enough points on the board to beat their opponents, or if the defense will have carry this Denver team to the post season. The excitement is palpable in Denver, so be sure to secure all your Denver Broncos tickets for the remainder of the season to see how it all plays out.
