New York — President Bill Clinton and Clinton Foundation Vice Chair Chelsea Clinton will host the fifth Clinton Global Initiative America (CGI America) meeting June 8-10 in Denver, Colorado, convening leaders across sectors to develop collaborative solutions that encourage economic growth, support long-term competitiveness, and increase social mobility in the United States. Nearly 1,000 business, government, and civil society leaders will join together to address pressing domestic issues such as empowering workers with the skills and training necessary for success in the 21st century; supporting U.S. cities looking to transform their local economies; and harnessing the potential of alternative energy and sustainable infrastructure across the United States.

CGI America is an annual working meeting that encourages leaders to collaborate across sectors to create Commitments to Action: new, specific, and measurable plans to take action. CGI America 2015 Commitments to Action will address important challenges such as closing crucial skill gaps, for those preparing for a first job and those mid-career; introducing urban farming to communities without access to healthy food; and creating affordable opportunities for early childhood education; among many others.
