Di Sebastiano Family dream of making traditional pasta in Australia was accomplished in 1997 with the birth of Diseb Food Group (Da Vinci Foods). Traditional pasta was fast being forgotten in favour of fast manufacturing technologies, which although made pasta more affordable and faster to produce, it changed many of its quality attributes and took away all the traditional aspects. Diseb Foods Group began with a small machine and lots of love....but found that the machines didn't make pasta like it used to be, so they decided to try and modify the machine...and it worked.

As Diseb Food Group expanded, they made sure that they continued to preserve the genuine artisan approach, and still today they modify all the machines to reproduce the traditional pasta makers hand movements and the hand rolling of the dough. Today, Diseb Food Group have 3 generations of the family actively involved in the company, and continue to use the same traditional manufacturing processes. Although this is detrimental to the volumes they can manufacture, is more costly, and is a harder process, it ensures that Diseb Food Group can provide authentic quality pasta and sauces to Australian Market. Diseb Food Group Foods is now pleased to be part of a growing group of companies in the food industry with a wide range of pasta products.
