What can you imagine under a “Big Box of Good”? Would it be a box full of expensive items, or would items connected with some lovely personal stories behind them mean more to you?

I am thrilled to reveal my latest collaboration with SenditNow who have come up with a brilliant campaign to support the UK’s leading veterinary charity the PDSA. I have been approached along with a few other bloggers to donate an item to the “Big Box of Good”.

We all will be using SenditNow service to pass the box from one blogger to another. Once the box is full, it will be sent to the PDSA as a donation, likely for auction with all proceeds going directly to their cause.

What does my addition to the box represent?

As I wanted to donate something meaningful and personal, I chatted to my husband and we have come up with I believe a brilliant addition to the Big Box of Good #GoodDelivery.

This summer it will be our 10th year wedding anniversary and before our wedding we left our lives in sunny Sydney behind, and decided to live back in Europe, in London where my husband is from. On the way back from the Down Under, we had a 2 weeks stop over at the Raratonga, the Cook Island paradise.

It was our kind of honeymoon ( I know before actually being married), and it was one of the most beautiful places we have ever been to. Hopefully we will be able to go back one day soon.

Anyway, on our holiday we bought a wooden carved statue of Tangaroa, the God of the Sea and Fertility ( as you can clearly see from the images), and loved the local stories behind this mythical god.

Back then I was worried that as having my first child in early thirties would mean it would take us ages for me to get pregnant, but guess what? No, I was pregnant straight away, and the same with our second born daughter.

This statue has been with us for over 10 years, and now I hope it will bring happiness to someone else out there!

Why SenditNow.com?

SenditNow.com is a parcel delivery service which provides you with one low price to anywhere in the UK up to 30kg. They also offer great value international parcel delivery to over 220 countries and territories worldwide, and will collect from your home or business; or you can choose to drop off to one of over 11,000 Post Office® branches. SenditNow.com uses Parcelforce Worldwide for it’s delivery service.

Working from home means that most of the time I manage to get all my deliveries. On the other hand I also often attend events in London, and so it can happen I miss the delivery and then need to organise to have it delivered again. I find leaving a parcel in a safe place of with a neighbour a great alternative, and the good news is that SenditNow are happy to do so.

This campaign has just started before us leaving for our holiday in the Czech Republic and as I needed to be time efficient, dropping off at the local Post Office branch was the most convenient for me.

What can you use SenditNow.com for?

Sending parcels to friends, family or businesses internationally or in the UK

Birthday, Christmas or Care packages for friends online

Selling items online e.g. via Amazon, eBay, Etsy or Gumtree

Returning unwanted goods

For more information go to the SenditNow website, follow on Twitter and visit their Facebook page.

Everything went smoothly with the my delivery and dispatch, and I cannot wait to see what other fellow bloggers will be donating for such a great cause.

I really hope this Big Box of Good will raise a lot of money for the PDSA, and that my statue will bring happiness to another family or a couple.

Now I would like to know “what would you put in your own ‘Box of Good’”?
