Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

3 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup butter, melted

4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

2 tablespoons creamy Biscoff spread

2 cups buttermilk

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Grape Syrup (recipe follows)

Instructions

Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Preheat oven to 250°. Place a wire rack in a rimmed baking sheet.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour and next 4 ingredients. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, peanut butter, and Biscoff. Add buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla, whisking to combine. Add peanut butter mixture to flour mixture, stirring just until combined.

Pour batter onto hot waffle iron, and cook according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Transfer waffles to prepared rack, and keep warm in oven. Serve warm with Grape Syrup, if desired.

Notes

Waffles can be made ahead and frozen. To reheat from frozen, preheat oven to 350°. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through.

Ingredients

2 cups seedless red grapes, halved

1 (12-ounce) jar grape jelly

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat; reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened.
