I love steamed vegetables and I love silicone kitchen products so this is the perfect combination! Silicone is so easy to clean and doesn't get as hot as the metal steamers. The silicone is strong and sturdy so you don't have to worry about breaking either. While it's not huge, it's perfect for a family of 2-4 who enjoy vegetables that are steamed to taste. The handle is sturdy so when it is full of cauliflower or broccoli, it's easy to pull up and strain directly into the pan. I also love that it came with a vegetable peeler with 3 different sides (peel, julienne, slice). This is so far my favorite steamer I have used to date and will continue to use this product for years on end hopefully.
