My boyfriend and I got introduced to African Shea Butter a couple of years ago. We use it for everything. It's an excellent, moisturizing lotion, and it even helps scrapes, burns and irritated skin. Normally, we use yellow Shea butter. This was our first time trying the raw ivory Shea butter and I must say we were really impressed. We honestly didn't think it would be much different than the yellow Shea butter, but we were pleasantly surprised!
I highly doubt we'll be going back to yellow Shea butter again. This raw ivory Shea butter was so much better. Shea butter is extremely moisturizing and is naturally kind of greasy feeling. We found that the yellow Shea butter was extremely greasy, and didn't absorb as well with your skin. This raw ivory Shea butter wasn't quite as greasy and absorbed much better in your skin, leaving your skin feeling more moisturized and not as greasy. It comes in an awesome, easy access container. And with this stuff, a little goes a long way! It will last you a long time! We still use it for everything. I love to use it after shaving my legs, it makes your legs feel soo soft and smooth. It also feels great if you use it for a massage! We even use it on our dogs scabs from scratching himself. It helps them heal faster.
If you've never tried African Shea butter than I highly suggest you give it a try. And I think this is a great product to try it out with. I am sure you will love it just as much as we do and you will find all kinds of good uses for it!
