From crop tops and collars to top knots and thigh-high leg splits, this year’s People’s Choice Awards red carpet showcased a whole range of outfits on a whole range of stars.

Some celebs bowled us over with their on point looks and some left us questioning what their stylists were thinking. Plus, there seemed to be a battle to be crowned the edgiest dresser - which we had no idea was happening.

BEST: Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson looked as effortlessly chic and un-fussy as ever in a crisp white Stella McCartney jumpsuit. But it’s that divine cylindrical clutch we love the most. [Photo: Getty]

BEST: Claire Danes

The “Homeland” actress made jaws drop in this metallic beaded Burberry number. Stunning. [Photo: Getty]

BEST: Natalie Dormer

“The Hunger Games” star Natalie Dormer donned yet another Roland Mouret piece - and was easily one of the most classy and chic women to take to the red carpet. [Photo: Getty]

BEST: Kat Graham

“The Vampire Diaries” actress looked amaze in this structured monochrome dress, complete with a geometric lace overlay. [Photo: Getty]

BEST: Ashley Benson

While the rest of Benson’s “Pretty Little Liars” co-stars went for fussy looks that didn’t quite pay off, Benson opted for a long-sleeved LBD that showed off her enviable pins. [Photo: Getty]

BEST: Priyanka Chopra

This Vera Wang sequin-coated dress is pretty much our idea of heaven. Paired with a simple updo and Jimmy Choo’s, the finished look was just perfect. [Photo: Getty]

BEST: Abigail Spencer

Matching her frock with the carpet, actress Abigail Spencer showed a little leg in a strapless Alexia Maria gown. [Photo: Getty]

BEST: Lea Michele

Looking her usual gorgeous self in a beaded Elie Saab mini dress, “Scream Queens” star Lea Michele definitely gave us a look to squeal about. [Photo: Getty]

BEST: Vanessa Hudgens

Not a look we’re used to seeing the former Disney star in, Hudgens nevertheless sizzled in this metallic Kayat number. She completed the edgy look with a statement collar and slicked back hair. [Photo: Getty]

BEST: Melissa McCarthy

Rocking the bell sleeves on a pink satin top, Melissa McCarthey looked fresh-faced and gorgeous. [Photo: Rex]

BEST: Kaley Cuoco

Last years, trainers become more fashionable than ever and now “The Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco has proved that they even have a place on the red carpet. Paired with a beautiful sequin and mesh dress, the blonde actress looked fabulous. [Photo: Rex]

BEST: Julianne Hough

Actress and dancer Julianne Hough should grace the best dressed list for her sleek top knot alone. It also helps that we’re completely besotted with her glittering, off-the-shoulder Kaufmanfranco cutout gown. [Photo: Getty]

WORST: Shay Mitchell

This look threw us and we struggled to decide whether it was a completely fabulous dress or just a bit too out-there for the “Pretty Little Liars” star. We decided we weren’t a fan simply because the combination of the daringly low back (which you unfortunately can’t see in this image) and the side split was a little too much for us. [Photo: Rex]

WORST: Carly Rae Jepson

This look was just too leathery, latex-y and bondage-y to make the best dressed list. [Photo: Getty]

WORST: Christina Milian

There’s a bit too much cleavage, leg and purple going on here. Better luck next time, Christina! [Photo: Getty]

WORST: Lucy Hale

Although we LOVE Lucy Hale and LOVE Self Portrait, we just can’t get on board with this look worn by the “Pretty Little Liars” star. Perhaps she should have ditched the black accessories and left her locks loose… what do you think? [Photo: Getty]

WORST: Amber Valletta

Although there’s no denying the fact that actress Amber Valletta has a wow-factor body, this all-beige Balmain ensemble is just a little too bleurgh and boring. [Photo: Getty]

WORST: Troian Bellisario

While this patterned maxi dress might work wonderfully for a boat party or beach wedding, this Caterina Gatta frock just didn’t look right on the People’s Choice Awards red carpet. [Photo: Rex]
