Commenting
on the pair's explosive argument, Barack
Obama told TMZ that he was confident the two could sort out their
differences.
"I think that
they are going to be able to sort it out… I am confident. I'm all about
bringing people together, working for the same cause", Barack told host Michael Yo. "I
think both outstanding artists are going to be able to make sure that they're
moving forward and not going backwards".
Probed
on whether he's team Nicki or team Mariah, ever-so-skilled in answering challenging
questions, Obama kept it neutral, admitting he's good friends with the
'Triumphant' diva, but is feeling the Young Money rapper's flow also.
"Mariah.
She's actually done some events for us. I've gotten to know her and Nick
[Cannon, husband]. She's a wonderful lady."
He
then said: "Nicki, I don't know, but I've got her on my iPod”.
