Can I really teach English?
The answer is “YES!” Different people from many walks of life have found success and fulfillment
Do I need teaching experience? The answer is “No”. We’ll give you the help and advice you need to succeed.
Do I require a TEFL certification?
The answer is “Yes” a TEFL certificate is required. It can be either an online or classroom certification.
Do I need to speak Thai?
The answer is “No” There isn’t a language requirement. In fact, most schools in Thailand prefer teachers who don’t speak the Thai language.
Will I be the only English teacher at school?
The answer is “No” We always have other teachers at our schools. We believe that our teachers need the support and friendship of others to thrive in there new environment.
Will I be in a city with things to do?
The answer is “YES!” We make sure all our schools are in areas where teachers will have things to do in their spare time.
Do I get to choose my school?
The answer is “YES!” We will allow you to choose the area that you wish to teach in. We will give you a description of the areas and what is in that area. Obviously if all positions are taken in that area. Then we will help you choose another option. We want you to come over as prepared as possible.
How much does this cost?
The answer is “NOTHING” We do not charge anything for the job placement or any of our services.
If I come to Thailand with Teachers for Thailand, am I guaranteed a job?
The answer is “YES!” If we offer you a position. We guarantee that the job will be available upon your arrival.
Do you have a list of requirements needed? And what kind of package you offer?

Requirements and EligibilityIn order to be accepted for our jobs, you need to:
Hold a Bachelor degree in any subject
Be a native English speaker OR a near native speaker who is fluent in English
Be enthusiastic and enjoy working with children
You will also need a police check that shows you do not have a criminal record of any kind
Have a Tefl or some other teaching certificate
**Please note that if you are a Non Native English (TEFL) teacher, or a South African national, you will also need a TOEIC test score above 750. The TOEIC test can be applied for later once your job has been secured.
Native English Speakers are people who have a passport from these countries:
United Kingdom
Republic of Ireland
United States of America
Canada
Australia
New Zealand
South Africa (with a TOEIC)
What we at Teachers for Thailand are offering:
salary of 32,000 THB per month(at least)12 month contract or 6 month short term if you wish
provided Curriculum
provided documents for Non Immigrant B visa
paid Work Permit
English speaking consultants available 24/7 for our teachers
Help finding accommodation in the area, and help moving in.
We will transport the teacher to the school area from Bangkok.
