Golf course in Alcaidesa
Alcaidesa Links Golf Course is one of many excellent Costa del Sol golf courses.
The golf course is situated at only 15 minuted drive from Gibraltar. In the area 6 other world class golf courses can be found, such as Valderama, Almenara, Real Club the golf in Sotogrande and the San Roque Golf Resort.
Alcaidesa is the only Links Golf Course on the Costa del Sol and it is designed by Peter Allis and Clive Clark.
Spectacular are the views of the Mediterranean Sea, Gibraltar and the Atlas Mountains of northern Africa across the Straits.
Alcaidesa Golf Course was host to various professional tournaments have been held, including the Junior Ryder Cup in 1997.
After a round of golf you can relax in Alcaidesa’s Golf Club House. It’s current location, looking over the putting green to the sea, surrounded by buganvilla and palm trees, will be changed in near future once the new club house is finished.
The new club house being built at the moment will be situated behind the Birdie Club, a new development of Frontline golf apartments.
On the western part of Alcaidesa works are currently in progress to finish the second golf course of Alcaidesa.
