The MGI // MARCK-15 Hydra .450 Thumper is now available. This Hydra is configured in .450 Thumper. It includes the Modular Lower Receiver with a 5.56 (AR) Magazine-Well, the QCB-D Upper Receiver and a 16-inch barrel and a .450 bolt and modified carrier.
Old Town, Maine (October 2014)- MG Industries, manufacturer of the modular MARCK-15 AR “Hydra” platform, announces the MARCK-15 .450 Thumper configuration of its popular Hydra platform is now available.
The .450 Thumper round gives the Hydra another hard hitting configuration for hunters to use when taking down large game. With this system, the user can purchase and utilize the rest of MGI’s ever-growing system, including the various magazine wells and caliber conversions. To convert this system to another caliber, simply change the barrel, bolt and magazine well to the desired caliber. With caliber conversions already available, and many more coming into production, this weapon system continues to grow and become the most versatile black rifle platform the industry has ever seen.
Like most configurations of the Hydra, this weapon ships to you in a standard, hard-sided, lockable pistol case.
