Sometimes it seems like I'm always dropping or picking up my daughter from some school function. Normally when I do this, she's starving. Since I have a new car, I don't want it getting messed up, so I need something easy. I have a list of tried and true items I've given my daughter Natalie either on the go, or for a quick bite when she has to hurry and get to the next practice, and they are the following:

1. Armour LunchMakers® + Drink. These are incredible. Everything is already there on the box. I picked some up at H-E-B in the cold section where all the meats, cheeses, and hot dogs are. You can also pick these up at other stores too.

A favorite of Natalie's is the Ham & American Cheese.

I like that it comes with fruit punch made from 100% juice, plus it's a good source of protein and calcium. Natalie loves making "cracker sandwiches", as she calls them. She also enjoys the treat that is made with real fruit.

You can also get it in other flavors such as Nachos & Cheese, Chicken & American Cheese, and Pizza with Pepperoni. Another favorite of Natalie's is the Nachos.

2. Fruits and veggies. I usually always have a bag of apples in the car since they don't have to be in the fridge. Mandarins are another favorite. Sometimes she decorates them for fun.

3. Pretzels. I find these are less messy than chips or crackers. I made the mistake of passing out chips once and the dusting on them got all over my car. I was not pleased. So pretzels it is now!

4. Popcorn. Kids seem to love this and it helps that you can buy it in a variety of flavors now. Natalie normally sticks to Kettle Corn. I prefer the movie theater popcorn!

Natalie's next big event is the school play. It's called Honk and she's playing Penny. This means she'll be busy with rehearsals, so I'll be sure to have her snacks waiting when I pick her up. Lately she's been munching on the LunchMakers while she studies her lines. They're super easy to munch on while going over lines, which is a win.

So which Armour LunchMakers are you excited to try?
