The Grand Theft Auto V Heists DLC has skipped many planned release dates and this is making fans angry. Complaints have been filling up Rockstar’s support forum. Players are especially angry to have a delay in a product feature that was advertised and also the silence from Rockstar about the development of it. Though Rockstar has apologized for the delay and promised that the DLC will be out sometime this year many are theorizing that the delay in releasing the heist could be in light of publishers and shareholders gaining from the delay, preventing players from cashing in on the DLC which would drop the shark card revenue.
But a lot is going on in GTA Online with the 1.16 patch releasing and “San Andreas Flight School Event Weekend” is taking off from Friday through Sunday. This event will be bringing a lot of bonus RP and GTA $ for players who do the Flight School event playlist. And there’s more GTA $ for parachute jumps and air races. This event will also bring chances for the players to win exclusive in-game Parachute Pack unlock, discounts from San Andreas local businesses, special competitions and giveaways reported Rockstar on its Newswire.
Apart from this there’s new leaked information about weapons in the next 1.17 update. The players may have access to the flare gun, rifle and thermite bomb. The flare gun will be available in multiple colors and can call in faster airstrikes. But whether it will be used in future Heist missions or to set fire on other players is not yet known. The thermite bomb promises to be one hell of an explosive. It will be able to destroy weapon caches, bunkers, vehicle – maybe even tanks, who knows? Not only this, thermite burns underwater. This will be put to use by players on missions in Heist DLC.
