Consolidated Shipping Group, the Dubai-based network agent for the Famous Pacific Shipping Group of independent forwarders and consolidators in seven countries, celebrated its twentieth anniversary this month. This milestone was marked by a three-day series of conferences and meetings, a gala dinner and a golf event, and continued in neighboring Abu Dhabi, with a carnival theme party.
Founded in 1995, Consolidated started as a small operation catering to local logistics requirements in Dubai. Today it is one of the largest privately-owned freight forwarding and logistics businesses throughout the Middle East and India, with a staff of 800 and bases in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India and Pakistan.
Consolidated now provides a broad portfolio of services including non-vessel operating common carrier business, freight forwarding, 3PL and 4PL, projects, heavy equipment logistics and relocations.
