The Forum is hosted by Canfax, a division of Canadian Cattlemen’s Association that has provided expert analysis of markets and trends in the ever changing North American beef industry over the past forty years. We have brought together an expert line-up of speakers to provide you with updates and outlooks on current key market drivers affecting the Canadian cattle market, including global views of trade, input costs, currency markets, fund investors and beef and competing meat trends.

The Forum will start with registration and a reception at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2013 at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino, 1000, 11500 – 35 Street SE, Calgary Alberta. The forum will start on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 with registration and continental breakfast at 7:00 am followed by sessions from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Lunch and morning and afternoon coffee breaks are included.

There has been many challenges that have faced the Australian beef industry in recent years, from floods and drought, record high currency, political challenges and global economic slowdown. However, despite all the issues, Australia’s beef export footprint has expanded into developing nations, helping to offset the slowness into traditional markets.
