Liebherr opens Western US spare parts depot

Liebherr Construction Equipment has opened a new spare parts facility located in Visalia, California.  The new depot is expected to begin operations in early 2015.

The facility will support Western US Distribution with localized parts warehousing. The National Parts Distribution Center in Newport News, Virginia along with its new distribution center in California, will help expedite parts orders, improve operational efficiency and minimize transit time while increasing customer support.

BKT Tires hires industry veteran

BKT Tires, a subsidiary of Balkrishna Industries Limited, has introduced Adrian Leu as Sr. Manager, Field Technical Services, to its Americas OTR team.

“With more than sixteen years of OTR tire industry experience with major tire manufacturers worldwide, Adrian brings a high level of field engineering expertise to our team.  Adrian’s primary role will be to ensure BKT tire products are of the highest quality and adhere to rigorous performance standards,” says Shawn Rasey, President of BKT Tires, Inc.

BKT Tires opened its U.S. OTR offices earlier this year.

John Garrison Joins Superior Industries

Superior Industries announced the hire of industry veteran John Garrison as a new business development manager. Mr. Garrison’s strong experience in bulk processing will be used to develop new opportunities for Superior’s portable plants product line, its design-build division and the company’s new wet processing division.

Garrison joins Superior after spending the last decade as a market area director at Terex in their Mineral Processing Systems (MPS) Division. In that role, he was responsible for directing sales, marketing, distribution and aftermarket service teams for the Cedarapids, Simplicity and Canica product lines. Before joining Terex in 2005, Garrison spent fives years as a territory manager at Motion Industries. He received a degree in business management from Baker College.

Bejac Corporation announced as new Liebherr dealer

Bejac Corporation has accepted dealer sales and service responsibility for the full line of Liebherr earthmoving and material handling equipment. Bejac’s corporate office located in Placentia, CA and six additional dealership locations in Sacramento, Fresno, Redding, San Francisco/Oakland, San Diego and Phoenix, Arizona will provide sales and service to Liebherr customers in these areas.

Chicago Pneumatic names new regional sales manager

Chicago Pneumatic Construction Equipment has named Kevin Cook to the position of Regional Sales Manager. Cook will manage sales in the Western region of the U.S. covering the states of Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii, and Washington.

Cook is responsible for developing and maintaining channels to gain profitable market share in the Western region. He will work with independent sales representatives to maintain existing accounts and help with cultivating new customers. He will also provide product training and other support resources.

Prior to joining Chicago Pneumatic, Cook operated in the construction equipment rental industry for over 14 years. He worked closely with independent rental companies throughout the Western region, and the Chicago Pneumatic product line.

Wilder Motor & Equipment now carrying Atlas Copco WEDA line of pumps

Atlas Copco has announced that Wilder Motor & Equipment now carries Atlas Copco’s line of WEDA electric submersible pumps at the rental center’s downtown Nashville, Tennessee location.

Wilder Motor offers the full line of WEDA electric submersible pumps, such as the 10N, 30N, 40N and 70L, to its customers in utility construction and repair, municipalities and quarry operations.

“Adding the Atlas Copco equipment allows us to offer a more complete lineup of pumps that can handle a greater variety of applications,” said President Jack Wilder. “Their quality and reputation were big reasons we chose their pumps.”

Liebherr announces new dealer for San Antonio and Austin Texas Markets

Nueces Power Equipment, has accepted dealer sales and service responsibility for the full line of Liebherr earthmoving and material handling equipment for the San Antonio and Austin Texas markets.

Headquartered in Corpus Christi, Nueces Power Equipment has been serving the construction and heavy equipment industry for more than two decades. The company was founded in 1989 and has expanded its operations since then. Nueces Power Equipment operates seven locations across South Texas.

Natural Resource Partners reports Q3 2014 results

Natural Resource Partners L.P. (NYSE:NRP) reported revenues of $91.6 million for the third quarter of 2014 compared to $82.2 million for the third quarter of 2013, and distributable cash flow, a non-GAAP measure, of $57.8 million compared to $104.6 million for the third quarter of 2013.  Net income per unit was $0.32 for both the third quarter of 2014 and 2013.  NRP reported EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, of $78.3 million in the third quarter of 2014 compared to $72.9 million for the third quarter of 2013.  Reconciliations of the non-GAAP measures of distributable cash flow and EBITDA are included in the tables at the end of this release.

“We continued to benefit in the third quarter from our diverse portfolio of natural resource assets,” said Wyatt Hogan, President.  “All of our commodities performed in line with our expectations for the quarter, and we remain on track to meet our guidance for the year.”
