Realizing there is more supplement information to the Dragon AGE tabletop than just the official sets

Or even being into Dragon Age lore and wanting as much information on one topic as possible

I fucking love Dragon Age and it’s

“15 Things You Didn’t Know, But Are Going To Want To And Let Us Show You The 10 Sources You Are Going To Need To Find Them”

Tell. Me. Everything. What are all the sources? What was that about Varric in your tags?

…There is SO much, I cannot even comprehend the amount of Dragon Age sources for lore there actually are and I know all of them.

First, Varric though. Otherwise, I’ll never get to him. Varric Tethras’ family was kicked out of Orzammar before he was born, because his father fixed the Provings. We know this right? He tells us. What he doesn’t say is that his father was an erratic drunk who died leaving his responsibilities to Bartrand, while Varric took care of his declining mother who was also a heavy drinker and often made herself so ill that Varric would refuse to leave her side. Meanwhile, Varric really was never close to Bartrand at all, they were always more business partners than friends and yet Varric has such an overwhelming sense of responsibility that he would and has given up a lot to keep his family safe and their name clear at the expense of his own happiness.

Onto the too fucking many sources:

Dragon Age Origins, 9 DLCs, and an Expansion (not including the 18 or so item DLCs, whose descriptions have lore in them)

Dragon Age 2, 4 DLCs (counting the Black Emporium), and around 25 items with lore descriptions

Dragon Age Inquisition, 4 DLCs (counting the Black Emporium), Multiplayer Backgrounds, and Lore/Character videos made for promotion purposes
