Yet another creative change to the roster of Marvel’s Ant-Man has been made. According to Deadline, actors Patrick Wilson, Matt Gerard and Kevin Weisman have dropped out of the first film in Marvel’s Phase Three. The latter two’s characters were written out of the evolving script, while Wilson had a scheduling conflict thanks to production on Ant-Man being delayed. This is the latest major change within the production, which was kicked off by the departure of director Edgar Wright as well as several other crew members.

Despite this unexpected change, a presence at Marvel’s San Diego Comic-Con panel tomorrow is still expected. Don’t be surprised to see actors Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly appear, as well as new director Peyton Reed. This is certainly disappointing news for some fans, as Wilson was one of the more interesting additions to the film’s cast.
