I was super excited to receive my box, and did a fun little unboxing video, sharing what I got - and even sampling one of the products... What the video to see my reaction and first thoughts! After the video, I will break down what I got with mini reviews on all the items. ♥
Below you'll find a break down of what I got, and also my thoughts on them....

My thoughts: I have never tried hummus before (is that weird?)! I am sort of a picky eater and tend to NOT stray from the food I KNOW I like. So I was very curious to try this, and possibly expand my food options. :) I must say I liked it ok. The flavor wasn't bad, in fact it sort of reminded me of those chimichanga burritos. I admit I didn't finish it all, there is quite a bit in there... Definitely enough for a mini meal! Over all, I didnt hate it, but didnt love the flavor either. It was just ok, and I would eat it, but it wouldnt be my first choice. Still I was glad I got to try something new. Now I know what hummus taste like!
2. Beauty Bursts.

My Thoughts: I am VERY intrigued by the idea of this product! I cannot tell you for sure how well it works from one chew, but I am curious enough that I sort of want to buy a bag to try out! $20 for 60 chews sounds like a great deal.... If you watched this video you saw me try this. The taste is good, as I said in the video the flavor almost reminded me of an oatmeal raisin cookie/protein bar. It was good, but I would probably like to try the other fruit flavor. I also think these yummy little chews could be a good way to help curve a sweets craving too.
3. BSN N.O.-XPLODE.

My Thoughts: I actually really liked this stuff. I took it as directed 30 minutes before my workout and definitely felt more energetic and focused for my workout. I also felt it helped me keep going in my workout, usually after a certain amount of time, I get tired and cant wait to finish up and go home. But I didn't feel like that when I drank this. I felt like I could have kept going and worked out longer, if I didn't have to go home! It had a great flavor (blue raspberry) though I didnt like it much so concentrated... It says to mix with 5-12 ounces of water, so that was all I mixed it with. I felt that made the flavor too strong, but I drank it all like that anyways. Afterwards I re-filled my water bottle up with ice water, (without rinsing) so the flavor still remained. And that was a much more subtle and nice flavor. I am not sure if it really matter much if you add more water... But I think it would have tasted better with more water. Either way though, this did what it said it was supposed to, and I really enjoyed the boost in energy it gave.
4. Body Glove Surge Enery Gel.

My Thoughts: I gave this a try before my workout the day after trying the N.O.-XPLODE drink. And I was actually really nervous to try this.... I literally was making a face, thinking it was going to taste nasty. But when it hit my tongue I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of chocolate! I hadn't realized that it said it was chocolate flavor (at the very top)! So it was good. I liked the idea that its all natural, I dont think many energy drinks are! With this one, I definitely felt a sudden surge of energy kick in. Only with this I didn't feel like my energy lasted any longer than normal. I didn't feel any kind of "crash" either, however I feel like this only gave me a boost of energy for 45 minutes. As opposed to 2-3+ hours I felt with the no-xplode.
5. Smarty Pants Adult Multi-Vitamins.

My Thoughts: YES PLEASE! I LOVED these. VERY yummy! I'll admit from time to time when I want some sweets, I will sneak a gummy or two from my kids' fruit snack packs! These are just as good, PLUS good for you. Win-win. Ive been meaning to start taking a multi-vitamin... Just have not made time to look into them yet. So I am glad I got to try these... They have got me sold. AND I must say that in MY OPINION, the best part about these is that the daily dose (serving size) is 6 gummies. That may not be something that people think about... But think about this, when you try something yummy how often do you want more than just one? If you're like me, its most likely ALL the time. So you get to enjoy 6 gummies, like you would be enjoying a sweet little snack.
6. Rootology

My Thoughts: Ok, so at first I wasnt sure about if I'd even be able to use these, because typically I dont have any allergies! However, after thinking about it and reading about these, I realized that I have been sort of congested a lot lately. I have not had a cold or any further symptoms of being sick.. Still I have been congested in my nose/throat a lot lately. Which I assume must be from some kind of allergy, or maybe because our house gets so dusty so fast! So I decided to go ahead and give these a try to see if they made any kind of difference in that! I appreciate the fact that they sent two packets to give it a good try. I can say that I do believe they have made a difference! This isnt something I feel I really NEED, but its good to know if I feel like I will need some kind of allergy relief... These will be of use.
