This African Safari luxury Game Lodge is situated on the banks of the Sabi River and offers such beautiful views. It is intimate and exclusive and offers ultimate luxury in the heart of the African bush.
The lodge is small and has six luxurious suites. Each suite includes a private rim flow pool and a beautiful wooden deck overlooking the bushveld. Nothing better than sitting in your pool and watching an elephant walk past. The rooms are really comfortable, and as for the bathroom they have a free standing bath and an outdoor shower and it is so nice in summer to shower outdoors. Each room has a lounge and fireplace, in and outdoor shower, maxi bar, air-conditioning and overhead fans. The large comfy bed has mosquito netting and if you want twin beds that can be done as well.
This African Safari lodge also offers a fully equipped gym, spa and a library. The main area of the lodge is tastefully furnished and is a great meeting up for tea just before you go out on your game drive. They offer two game drives per day.
A Hippo tour. Often the guests do not get the chance to see the hippo during either their morning & evening game drive as the Land Rover’s traverse the interior of the reserve, focusing on the inland animals. This tour offers the guest a chance to observe this amazing creature in its natural habitat at Lion Sands Game Reserve. There is also a good chance of seeing the enormous African Nile crocodiles (12/14ft), which inhabit the Sabie River.
The meals are also superb and one never knows if you are having dinner in the bush or on the deck, the bush breakfasts are always a real treat as either you can indulge this wonderful feast in a river hide or out on the open plains. If you are looking for a private African Safari picnic that can be arranged as well.
