DAY 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Our Masai Mara Fly-in Safari starts at the Wilson Airport in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. At 10h00 we catch a flight to Masai Mara from Wilson Airport, which handles mostly regional and domestic flights.
Landing at the Ol Seki Naboisho Airstrip near Masai Mara at about 11h00, a driver from the camp is there to collect you. You are transferred to the safari camp, enjoying your first game drive along the way. We arrive at the camp in time for a freshly prepared lunch, before setting off on a late afternoon game drive in the private Ol Kinyei Conservancy.
Whilst out on our 4x4 game drive we stop for sundowners in the African bush, before returning to camp for dinner and a laid-back evening at camp.

DAY 02: Masai Mara Game Reserve
We spend the whole of day two game viewing in the private Ol Kinyei and Naboisho conservancy areas of greater Masai Mara. These private conservancies host large populations of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards (four of the Big Five) and plenty of others, such as cheetahs and giraffes.
On our game drives in Ol Kinyei and Naboisho, we come across very few (if any) other safari vehicles - enjoying an exclusive game viewing experience.

DAY 03: Masai Mara National Reserve
On day three we get up early, have breakfast and head into the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. We spend the day game viewing in the scenic Masai Mara Reserve, sighting a plethora of African wildlife. Keep your eyes out for the Big Five, along with the abundance of plains game roaming freely in this vast wilderness area.
We take a picnic with us and stop for lunch in Masai Mara, heading back to camp later in the afternoon.

DAY 04: Masai Mara to Nairobi - Kenya
Before breakfast this morning we embark on an early morning game viewing adventure. Take a game drive or guided bush walk with a Maasai guide in one of the private conservation areas (Ol Kinyei or Naboisho Conservancies).
After breakfast back at camp, we pack up and say goodbye to the wild Mara, retracing our steps to the Ol Seki Naboisho Airstrip. The scheduled flight to Nairobi departs at about 11h00 and arrives at Wilson Airport at about 12h15, bringing this Masai Mara Fly-in Safari to a close.
About Ol Kinyei and Naboisho Conservancies
Ol Kinyei Conservancy is a private wildlife conservancy encompassing 65km² of the Mara ecosystem in Kenya. This unspoilt wildlife conservancy is known for its beautiful scenery and diverse landscapes, hosting numerous large animals species. The conservancy is home to big cats (lions, leopards and cheetahs), elephants, buffalos, giraffes, zebras and lots of plains game. The Great Wildebeest Migration usually passes through Ol Kinyei between June and October, making it an ideal spot for witnessing this world-famous wildlife spectacle.
The Ol Kinyei Conservancy was the first community-owned conservancy established in the Mara region. The local Maasai guides are highly experienced and qualified, offering exceptional game drives and bush walks. Visitors can also experience Maasai culture in the community-run conservancy.
The Naboisho Conservancy borders on Masai Mara National Reserve, incorporating over 200km² of game-rich bushveld and savannahs. This private conservancy offers superb game viewing, hosting high numbers of elephants, giraffes and other plains game. The abundance of herbivores attracts healthy populations of predators. There are about 100 lions inhabiting Naboisho, including the largest pride in the Mara region.
During the Loita Migration wildebeest, zebras and other grazers migrate from the Loita Plains to Masai Mara passing through Ol Kinyei Conservancy in about January. In February and March the plains of Ol Kinyei Conservancy are teeming with wildebeest and other herbivores, as this is calving season. Then the Loita Migration travels into the Naboisho Conservancy before continuing into Olare Motorogi and finally Masai Mara Reserve.
About the Tented Camp in Ol Kinyei Conservancy
Just six walk-in safari tents under the tall Acacia trees along the Laetoli - this is the only camp inside Ol Kinyei Conservancy.
The tented camp offers a genuine safari experience in the unspoilt Mara ecosystem, where the open plains, forests and rivers make for beautiful wild scenery. This authentic camp has a relaxed, yet exclusive atmosphere - providing a comfortable bush retreat away from the crowds. The permanent tented rooms are set on wooden platforms with small deck areas for relaxing in nature. The tents are spacious and well-appointed, featuring en-suite bathrooms with hot showers and flush toilets.
Expert guides conduct shared game drives in 4x4 safari vehicles, taking guests game viewing in the private Ol Kinyei and Naboisho Conservancies, and Masai Mara Game Reserve.
