This is a really beautiful song from Duncan Daniels. However, I am not sure there is a need to go “through the darkness,” i.e. someone else’s darkness to get to their hearts. They either let you in or they don’t.
When they let you know they are not letting you in, thank them because they just did you a favor and keep it moving. Hopefully you are in a good place in your life to see they are the issue and that you need to definitely not mess with the darkness. Wish them well and waive goodbye with a big smile.
