HOUSTON- African-American News&Issues presents Dr. Arnold Johnson of Johnson’s Auto Repair Shop. Johnson’s Auto Repair was founded over fifteen years ago by Arnold Johnson. Johnson is a native Houstonian, who was reared in the Acres Home community. His parents, the late Aubrey and Delores Johnson were also long-time residents of Acres Homes. He attended George Washington Carver High School. He later transferred to Aldine High School, where he graduated in 1981. As a lad, Johnson would work with his father on many vehicles. Undoubtedly, this is part of how he developed the skill of becoming a professional mechanic.
Dr. Johnson established Johnson’s Auto Repair to be of a service to residents of the Houston and surrounding areas. Johnson offers reasonable rates as it relates to customers and provides exceptional service to all. Air filter replacement, engine and transmission repair and replacement, computer diagnostic testing, coolant services, replace lights, car battery and belt hose replacements, air conditioning service, oil change and lube, air check, brake service, fuel injection, tune-ups, suspension work, vehicle preventative care and overall auto repair are amidst a few of the services that Johnson’s Auto Repair specializes in. Since the establishment of Johnson’s Auto Repair, Johnson has owned and operated a delivery company. He attended Cornerstone University, where he earned a Doctorate of Divinity degree. Collectively, Dr. Arnold Johnson along with his wife Karen shares a genuine passion and love for the community that they grew up in. Accordingly, the both of them are investing the gifts and talents that they possess, right back into the community; as they have two business ventures that have been pioneered in the heart of Acres Homes. His wife, Karen is the owner of a food truck which is stationed on the corner of West Montgomery Road and Hampton, It’s All Good Foods. It’s All Good Foods is a service that provides residents with a delicious array of seafood, chicken, burgers and much more. The Johnson’s look forward to servicing the community in many years to come
