* This is a Work at Home opportunity. Ideal location is our South East Region. The South East Region is made up of the following states: VA, Washington D.C., MD, WV, NC, SC, TN, GA, FL, AL, MS, LA and AR.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the Sales and Business Development strategy and results for large and complex global health and related insurance and wellness solution.
- Achieve personal and regional sales and net growth goals for premium/revenue, membership and targeted industry verticals.
- Develop and execute sales and market strategy for region.
- Articulate customer/prospect business needs, benefit plan financial analysis and rating solutions, and specific strategy to win.
- Responsible for business development and support of client management for groups with international benefit employees.
- Provide international benefit thought and sales leadership for region including mentoring of international sales and service personnel, training Aetna domestic sales and service teams and representing Aetna at industry meetings and events.
- Develop consultant and broker strategy for region and manage directly key consultant and broker relationships.
- Develop targeted vertical expertise, market and sales strategy and product needs to achieve vertical net growth targets.
- Develop relationships with all National Account and Swiss Life Network domestic customers and international prospects in territory and implement cross sale strategies to increase Aetna International penetration into Aetna domestic customer book of business. Work closely with Sales Executives and ASRs to discuss and develop all opportunities with National Accounts and the Swiss Life Network.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSE:
- Life and Health Insurance license.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 10 years of employee benefit sales experience with 5 years of sales experience.
- Experience developing and implementing market sales and business plans.
- Proven experience developing new business through strategic prospecting and retaining and growing existing business relationships.
- Must possess strong analytical skills and understanding of complex business needs.
- Experience developing productive relationships with brokers, consultant and customers.
- Must possess strong oral/written communication skills and financial acumen.
- Leadership: Engaging People, Developing People and Collaborating for Results.
