As the Disability Behavioral Health Clinical Case Manager, you will utilize advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking skills to facilitate appropriate member physical health and behavioral healthcare through assessment and care planning, direct provider coordination/collaboration, and coordination of psychosocial wrap-around services to promote effective utilization of available resources and optimal, cost-effective outcomes. As you receive a variety of mental health cases of varying complexities form providers, you will not only conduct clinical review to determine eligibility for disability services, but also collaborate directly with providers to determine plans of care.

In order to succeed as the Disability Behavioral Health Clinical Case Manager, you must possess a strong grasp of clinical concepts (such as mental health diagnoses) and understanding of different treatment modalities (such as treatment plans for depression or anxiety).

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Master's degree.

Mental Health/Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Mental Health/Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Mental Health/Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or any other independent social work/counseling license is strongly preferred. However, Registered Nurses with strong behavioral health background may also be considered.
