* This is a full time Work at Home position responsible for business/territory in the Mid-America and West Regions. We have two openings, one for the Mid-America region and one for the West region.

* The Mid-America Region is made up of the following states: ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH and KY.

* The West Region is made up of the following states: AK, HI, WA, OR, CA, AZ, NM, TX, CO, UT, NV, ID, MT and WY.POSITION SUMMARY/TEAM AND POSITION OVERIVEW: WellMatch is an innovative and fast growing technology business within the Healthagen division at Aetna. Our mission is to change the way consumers access and shop for healthcare services through providing them with accurate and simple to use transparency tools as well as providing them with the ability to shop for various discounts being offered by providers. We have an exciting opportunity for two Business Development Directors that would cover the West and Mid America territories/regions. The right candidate(s) will have polished presentation skills and will work directly with National Accounts, Employers and other stakeholders in promoting and selling the WellMatch value proposition.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Director of Business Development will play an integral role in the success of the territory.
- Will lead all the prospecting and sales cycles for the designated territory.
- Collaborate with internal partners and/or external constituents to uncover profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities within new or existing customers and to support post-sale activities.
- Deliver impactful, organized and polished presentations and WellMatch product demonstrations to both internal and external constituents.
- Attend various employer forums and other technology based conferences to promote WellMatch product.
- Negotiate new customer agreements and pricing arrangements.
- Track all sales efforts and leads in sales force as well as provide other financial reporting as needed.
- Achieve established customer/subscriber sales and profitability targets.
- Participate and present at customer finalists meetings.
- Support and contribute towards various customer transparency RFP requests.
- Opportunity to work with WellMatch Marketing in developing the appropriate sales and support materials.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 6-8 years of hospital system and/or health insurance industry experience; good understanding/knowledge of the health care industry; experience within a consulting shop would be nice.
- 6-8 years of client management/sales success is required.
- Experience working selling/presenting IT type products (web based products/applications for smart phones and tablets) is highly desired.
- Outstanding verbal and written (Microsoft Word and PowerPoint) communication skills, including formal presentations for all levels of management.
- Strong collaboration, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic business acumen and proven leadership skills.
- Ability to understand the needs of decision makers and help translate those needs into actionable plans.
- Ability to articulate and promote a vision.
- Ability to influence diverse teams and build strong relationships.
- Ability to analyze financial, clinical, and operational data and determine program status and impact to short and long-term program goals.
- Demonstrated strategic/systemic thinking as well as roll up your sleeves action.
- Experience leveraging matrixed staff with ability to leverage non direct reports to complete tasks.
