Willingness for flexible hours desired; hours for this position will include evenings and weekends. Flexible day and evening hours are required to meet business/member needs. Our office is open 8:30 am to 9 pm EST Monday through Friday and 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday. Someone in this role would be required to work at least two evenings a week from 12:30 pm to 9 pm and one Saturday a month from 9 am to 2 pm.

Bilingual candidate in Spanish and English is a plus!POSITION SUMMARY
Utilizes a collaborative process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to engage, educate, and promote/influence members in decisions related to achieving and maintaining optimal nutritional status.Fundamental Components:-Conduct telephonic and/or online clinical coaching assessments and sessions. Provide recommendations for healthy behavior changes according to established protocols.
-Assist members in weight management, quitting tobacco, stress management, nutrition, physical activity and other healthy lifestyle behavior change programs.
-Identify co-morbid conditions, hospitalizations, prescriptions and other factors that could impact the coaching and support needs of the member outside the scope of the health coaching program.
-Support clinical integration and collaboration on members care plan in conjunction with other health professionals
-3-5 years of experience with healthy lifestyle coaching for weight management, tobacco cessation, nutrition, physical activity and/or stress management.
-Facilitate positive behavior change.
-Demonstrated ability to communicate, problem solve and work effectively with people; use good judgment in new and challenging situations.
-Background in motivational interviewing, active listening skills, Transtheoretical Model, mindfulness based and other evidence-based coaching techniques preferred.
-Possess strong clinical decision making skills.
-Strong desires to coach, motivate and support members.
-Work within a multidisciplinary team.
-An understanding of the management of chronic health conditions, especially as it relates to Diabetes, Obesity and Hyperlipidemia.
-Excellent computer skills including MS Office applications such as Word, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint.Educational Requirements:Bachelors Degree is required with course work approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

****Coaching certification/training required (such as Wellcoaches, Real Balance 360, Intrinsic Coaching, University of AZ Tobacco Cessation Certification, etc).
